Went to order my camaro today and !!!!!!!!!!! - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

'twas a 3 hours to the local

chevy dealership
and they stopped taking orders today!
So i couldnt order!

Poop!
epic poop!

guess im waiting for the 13's. I didnt know they did that. just said "sorry you cant buy a coupe today"
omg the v8 was so much funner than the 6.... (they only had verts)

but I'm thinking to turbo a v6 so as to have the much cheaper payment, cheaper gas, and so on. also to keep myself busy.

he did say that he would give it to me below invoice and tint it for me and give me a spare key so thats a win.
plus i have 1750 off from manufacturer so thats another win.
also he let me back it out of the detail shop between 2 corvettes and a mustang!

The 13's will have the new infotainment system that is going to rock. Good to wait at this point.

thanks x-D!!!! i checked out the infotainment system on a different car.. i think it is not nearly as gay as i was expecting.

also he asked if i wanted to test drive a corvette that just got in that day.

Hopefully it won't be too long before you can get that order in for a '13. Or you could just buy a V8 and save the trouble and expense of putting a turbo on a V6.

This is way off topic, but how did you get the cute cat picture? What is he in?

A blender, isnt it great!

One thing i noticed driving a camaro: it feels cool sitting inside, but it looks alot cooler watching someone else drive by in one.
i had no concept of looking/feeling cool inside, only it feeling FUN.

Dude, how much cheaper is the insurance on the V8? I've never understood people who buy the lesser performing car because it's cheaper, only to shell out wads of cash just to get it up to par with the higher performing one.
As soon as you start modding for real (tune, turbo etc) warranty flies right out the window.
If you want the performance of the V8 and you buy the V6, you will end up trading it in a not so distant future, Just look at all the threads from people trading their LTs to SSs.

Not trying to spoil the fun here, just asking you to think this through a couple more times.

you drove 3 hours? either you went towards Utah or cali, my area since i'm 3 hours from vegas, why didnt you call first? i think most dealers arent stocking these cars since they are pre-ordered cars, i may be mistaken?
