FACTORY RALLEY STRIPES, TRANFORMERS PACKAGE: DO YOU KNOW?

Anyone that is getting "factory" ralley stripes or the Tranformers Package should know that the stripes are installed at a separate location 4.2miles/6.8km away. The cars are driven back and forth along SALTED public roads. These guys do a perfect job, but you might want to have your car thoroughly underspray washed by the dealer or your self.

OR skip the strpes and do it yourself.

Are they driven or trailered in the winter? Reason I ask is that our striped car was delivered in Feb with only 5 miles on odometer. Was expecting more than that if it was driven to the stripe factory, unless they drove in reverse the way back

Your car will get filthy driving out from Oshawa on the car trailer anyway if the roads are wet. Trust me. Here's a picture I took just outside the striping facility. This was a few months ago, before the snow.

This is really no big deal. You car gets driven in the parking lot which is salted into nasty rail cars that have the salt and dirt form other cars in them as they have never been cleaned since they was new onto 2-3 rail yards which is even nastier and also salted onto a filthy truck bed which drives on salted roads having salt and sand slung up from the trucks tires.

If that worries you then you don't want to know what the car goes though before it gets to your dealer as you will die from a heart attack. The small amount of salt it sees from being striped is nothing compared to the salt and dirt it will see on the rest of the journey.
