HOLY CRAP. The all season tires on the LS should have lasted at least 50,000 miles...75,000 if you rotate them.

He must suffer from serious lead foot syndrome.

I must have a weak engine. Have tried numerous times to burn-out. No go. Yep, all forms of traction control turned off. So....tires are still good at over 10,000.

there is no way. Did you smoke them from every stop and just do crazy burn outs? No wonder your car is broken.

I have over 10,000 and they look almost brand new.

You post about going 118 mph in your car and only getting 5k out of your factory tires and then complain about GM because you have transmission problems, engine codes, stabilitrack problems, and your car wont start?

you better do the fuse pull if you have an L99... you should be able to burn 'em no problem.

7800 miles (need new rear tires 5% tread left).

About 5 trips to the track and a heavy right foot. It's a Camaro SS so what do you expect? It would be a crime to make the rear tires last a long time on a Camaro SS.

stock rear Pirellis: 10K miles; rears: 17K miles (no burnouts or track runs). Damn hot South-Florida roads are murder on tires! 'Replaced the rears w/ Nitto Invos; those barely lasted 7K miles!? Just installed Continental Extreme Contact DWS all around. So far, I'm very happy w/ them.
