Well put the word out! I've been trying to get us to the 10 mark.

95%.... At what point would one need to worry about the front windshield? I plan on doing standing mile events and will probably see 180+mph. Would it be ok for that?

For those speeds I'd bolt the window in (I think they have pics of an install like that on their website) and/or consider the 1/4" window. Ask Jim from Optic about that specifically though since he'd know what the requirements are.

Over 1800 views to this thread and we can't get just 4 more people to at least get the windshield? You don't need to buy everything to be one of the "ten" buyers we need. With the 10% discount you'll get the windshield for $450. For a high quality polycarbonate windshield that's 16 lbs lighter than the factory windshield and 250 times stronger, that's a great deal!

We do need 10 orders for the side quarter windows though to get the discount on those.

I guess I'll have to give them a call. I was kind of hoping he would respond in here to my question that's why I quoted him. Confusing though...if it's 250 times stronger then why does it have issues with wind/speed? But no worries i'll give them a call.

Let us know what he says. Even though they're 250x stronger for impact, the air pressure at 180 mph is so great it might cause it to flex and bend enough to pull it loose from the glue (windshields are glued to the car normally).

It will flex under high speed.
It will scratch from everyday use.
Great product for a race car.
