We got some footage of his wrap flappin around in the wind

We'll post it up as we sort through all our footage.

Why wouldn't you just have the 3M clear bra installed and be done with it?

I was gonna use it just for the bugs. When you take it off all the road debris and bugs come off with it. Clear bra it's still on there till you detail the car later.

I bought some. Put it on, showed Mrs. SSOOCH before we left. She said, "really? That looks horrible"!!! So I took it off. I did get a ton of chips though. I'm kind of wishing that I would have left it on.

I'm also glad I got that off for you. Those were some nasty gouges. Next time just use blue painters tape. Put two layer on the areas that you are worried about chipping.

First of all it barely sticks to a fresh wax and wouldn't stick to my stripes. So in that sense it was useless. Also it peeled off my gills and roof of my car in less than an hour. the only places that stayed were the mirrors and on top of the hips of my car. It also left a discusting sticky residue that had to be clayed out.

Bottom Line: I will NEVER use road wrap again and will HIGHLY DISCOURAGE ANYONE form using it.

I will NEVER use road wrap again. It flapped everywhere, it was loud as hell, and it came off the second I drove home after putting it on. I can't believe so many of us wasted our money on that crap.

Sucked....Ill never use it again either. Went on crappy and came off easy! We had a bit of rain and my Camaro bretheran could hear it floppin in the wind as I blew past them. More then that, it let a bunch of dirt get in and left rub marks on the paint.

BIG THANKS to Randy at the Adams booth for getting out the rub marks after he spent over 15 hrs buffing and olishing it!

Your welcome Kirk. I was freaked when I saw what that stuff did to your car after I spent all that time making it perfect just a week before.

Oh, and KIRK, stay away from the automatic car washes please.

I bought a roll for the trip to Oshawa, sounds like I shouldn't use it.
Is Blue painters tape the only other option other than a clear bra?
I'd rather spend the money on a Solo cat back instead of a clear bra.
