GEN V 5.5 Liter V-8 in Z/28?
It seems that there is a new 5.5 Liter V-8 in the works and will be ready for the 2010 AMLS racing series. It appears this new engine is going to be a factory production engine produced at the same plant where the LS9 and LSA are built. I wonder if this could be the engine that will be dropped into our beloved Z/28??

how much you want to bet the new c7 vette comes out with this engine first. then the z06 gets a slightly different engine and the z28 with get this one.

I like the idea. Just like 1969. The SS will have the bigger motor. Not necessarily faster though.

I like it.
I hope that they get a smaller V8 that can rev up really high and get really good horsepower, but maybe make less torque to be true to the old Z
