I would've had to drive 20 miles toward the hail. I think they said it's over and we won't get any now. Thanks for all the help!
I was planning on going to a gas station with my laptop and typing a few papers. Looks like I'll be procrastinating even more now!

You may also want to try parking in the covered parking at the nearest drive-up bank for an hour or until the storm passes. Today's radar and graphics can give you a pretty good heads up warning.
