What's your daily driver?

My wife and I make pretty decent money, yet with 3 kids, a Camaro, an Acura, and our daily bills, we can't afford to park my Camaro for the winter months. How do you guys do it? What are you driving for your DD???

My Camaro is my DD. I sold my 2008 Trailblazer to get my 2012 Camaro.

I have a 2005 Saturn that is for heavy rain/snow days for me. I'm at the end of a divorce and I have no kids. I'm free to do what I like now.

I have a 2002 Honda Civic. How do I do it? My wife pulls in 6 figures and I do alright for a meathead that BARELY finished high school. And no bad habits like smoking or drinking and I'm not a traveling kind of guy but I do it to keep my better half happy

Finance degree ...

Only parent (widow) to 2 kids, 2200 sq. ft. house, 2011 2SS/RS convertible & 2 week old 2011 Tahoe LTZ (thanks Becky) is my winter DD.

You just do what you have to do even if it is cutting out the gourmet coffee every morning will save you $5 a day, going out to eat 1 meal a day average of $7 per day, drink water instead of pop (soda, Coke, whatever) saves you $1 per beverage.... you could easily save $286 from that alone and if you smoke or drink alcohol, there's even more money that can be used just by cutting that out as well... it really is quite simple to come up with the funds.

I kept my '06 Impala I bought new. The Camaro has never seen snow or a W-Mart parking lot. Don't think it ever will.
To answer the op's question, my 5 kids are grown and out of college- It's easy now.

2011 2SS/RS CGM Camaro is by daily driver. It currently has 41K on the Odometer. Put the Blizzaks on in mid November. Who are you saving the car for anyway?

Your right, way to go with 41,000 miles.
I just can't drive my SS dirty so it stays in the garage on nasty days.
17,000 easy miles since August of '09 and loving every one of them.

Wife and I do ok as we'll and the Camaro's sit quietly in the garage over the winter. DD's are 2007 Saturn and a 2010 Town & Country. With 2 kids and assorted hobbies requiring a hauling vehicle, the mini was a must and I'm proud to say is my DD.

I know, the whole man card thing, bla bla, but to those that say it all I can say is if it's crappy out side I can leave my Camaro(s) inside and take the DD and you'll be washing yours on the weekend while I'm playing with one mine.

It's good to have choices. :0)
