If your going to be investing 100k in this car, I would rather spring for the v8
I would in your case, look for a used 2SS/RS

if comfort is more your thing i would go 2LT if the power and such does not matter much to you. The V6 is still a powerful car.

Other than leather (which I don't care for). What makes a 2LT so much more "comfortable" than a 1SS ? I'm not trying to start stuff, I'm just ignorant I guess....

Just the little odds and ends i guess, even though its not to much of a difference. People usually see it as a upgraded ride.

I gotcha, I just get confused by when people use the term comfort/comfortable. (and I'm not talking only of you camaroitalia, check the thread other people have used the term comfort/comfortable). Much respect to all of you, but when I read "if you want comfort get the 2lt, if you want the power get the SS". I think we need to differentiate between comfort and amenities. They are two different things. Again, not trying to be a douche...... just saying. Much respect to my C5 peeps !

If u cant afford the ss, get the V6. Besides the ZL1 wont have a mail slot so it will look like the V6 just with the front facia of the ss w/o the useless mail slot. The LT's look bad @$$

I honestly love the 1SS, those seats are super soft and are never as cold as leather on freezing cold days, will never burn your ass off of your gfs(when she wears those sexy shorts) on hot days.
And the 1SS comes with leather wrapped steering wheel and shifter, that is a MUST Both are comfortable rides, if you want all the bells and the whistles, go for the 2LT, its a great car.

having the power of the SS would be cool, but in the area I live in there isnt really anywhere I can really enjoy it on a regular basis. lots of short roads filled with potholes for me to dodge and dip between lol. it all depends on your personal preferences and situation
