Emma, she tells EVERYBODY that.....its just a liability issue kind of thing....its custom work......but you KNOW, that if a single person didn't think that theirs didn't look good, WE would have heard about it. we have heard anothing but praise about pam's workmanship. There is NOTHING to worry about.

I figured as much... thanks.

I just didn't want to pay over $100 for new headrests and then wish I'd asked.

Okay, here are some picture tips!

The first one shows the covering on the headrest with the front and back flaps open. Note the channel at the back. This is where the front and back sections come together and snap in.

The second one shows one of the plastic hooks on the back flap and a slot on a side flap. Insert all four hooks into the four slots, push the end of the front panel into the channel, then, the back.

Thanks for the photos!

I ordered a pair of blank leather 2LT headrests in black. I'm going to have them embroidered by Pam to look like this. Thanks to everyone in this thread for all the info and pics.

She told us the very same thing, there is always that slim possibility. But of the dozens and dozens of us that have had work done by them, I have yet to hear a complaint!

Got my blank headrests today. Woo hoo!

I was able to get the cover off without much trouble. The trick is to bend the back a little bit to open up that channel where the 2 pieces come together.

I have them all boxed up and they are ready to ship to Pam tomorrow.

I'm going to have "SS" put on them in red with silver outline.

Thanks everyone for your help on this.

Ok, I have the new head rests and had Pam do the RS in them.
I know you push the button on the side of the head rest shaft to lift them but how do you get the head rest up and out of the seat once it gets to the top of the shafts?. They stop.

I think you have to squeeze on both sides and hold the buttons in.
