Can somebody please tell me this dimension? I want to have my stripes go over the extractor and they are spaced a little wider than stock. Ii am trying to see exactly where they will be on the extractor. Thanks!

2014 Heat extractor on a 2010 hood

I measured exactly where your line is and it was 10 3/4 inch from inside the lip to inside the lip

Ok now that all the hard work is done I'm thinking about painting the extractor screens/grills orange but undecided if I should leave the extractor the gloss obsidian black or shoot it to match the 1LE satin black?? Opinions wanted!!!

Hood looks good. IMO paint the grills.... It has not been done too much.

You may need to trim the opening a little. It may be hitting the extractor and not allowing the metal to go up all the way...

Or you may want to buy some 1" or 1.5" flat steel and epoxy it to the underneath side. to make the hood more rigid. I know some guys have done that. Good luck hope you figure it out.

It looks like the middle section of the hood needs to be trimmed. That's where the hood seems to be stressed
