The last I heard, it was in post production. I am waiting for it too, as there is a slim chance I might be in it (background shots). When I was on set the crew told me it was supposed to be released around halloween.........two years ago.

Heres some shots I got with my horrible cell phone. If I had known I was wandering into an active filming area, I would have brought a better camera.

Better quality from a different filmer. Same street, same sequence.

This was filmed over the course of 8 hours on that street. There was to be a chase scene involving a ford GT later in the night, but I didnt stick around. I walked on, gave up "the rights to my likeness" to the film crew, and watched the firebreather run up and down that 1/4 mile stretch of road once every 20 minutes for about 4 hours. They did takes with a stunt driver, and with the star (Ray Park). You knew when the star was in it too, lol. The stunt driver was very controlled and precise. He knew how to work the car to make it appear out of control, where Ray just beat the hell out of the car, and actually was out of control. What they gathered over that 8 hours is supposed to be compiled for a 45 second chase sequence.

A side note: This was filmed in august, but the crew put christmas lights on all of the trees, yet the stand ins are all wearing summer clothes.

And yes, the car was LOUD and vicious sounding.

really cool car. I like a lot of the cues added to it like the gills and headlights.

the firebreather was sold at the Mecum auto auction in Indy yesterday! I was there and it was a breath taking piece of art..... how much did it go for?? $90,000

they made 50 or so of them. If I remember right. There is also a company that makes a replica spoiler.

I just wish they could sell out firebreather rear lights :(

i don't think it's gonna happen !!
u have to change many thing on your car to install that taillights

it will need to cut threw the body to install those tail lights..simple
