I posted this in the audio section too but

I was on Facebook just now and noticed GM's Camaro page posted about accessories at www.gmaccessories.com It mentioned the subs in the post and its listing showed them as being available Q2 2009. Is this true are they available now? I didn't think they were. Also if so has anyone purchased them and seen how they hook them up? It lists them for $1,000 plus install and I know I can build a better setup for much less as I've done it before but I don't want to cut up the wiring if I don't have to.

Check by writing subwoofer in search. Theres pictures in a post of it installed. I had parts order it to put in my 2SS I ordered when I get it. And I was standing there when parts manager called someone at GM about availability and they said it was available. So mine should be showing up at parts any day. So answer is yes its available now.

Ok I found some pics of the subs but how do they install? anyone have pics of how it plugs in and connects?

I would do a ******** system. I love it and it was alot less than the factory. Looks better too!

I have the GM subwoofer installed in my car. I ordered it from the dealer and had them install. It came with all the wiring harness needed. I have pictures and will post when I figure out how.

$800.00 for subwoofer and $150.00 for install and maintained factory warranty. Probably could have spent less doing something else. But I wanted the warranty and I think it is a nice neat clean install and does not take up space and easily removed if needed.
