BAP - Kenne Bell vs MSD?

I've been shopping around for some parts before I take my car over to APF, and I have a few questions.
Which is better?
Cleaner install?
Easier to setup?

I figure the response is going to be about 50-50, but I'd still like to hear what you guys have to say.

This will be used in conjunction with the stock pump for the time being, and Maggie.

Never heard of it, I'm not limited to just MSD and KB, just the only ones I have heard of and seem most popular.

So tell me, why not Magnavolt?

I'd go with the KB. It can be installed in the trunk hidden with just two small wires run up front to the boost sensor, where as the MSD either installs in the trunk with a LONG vaccum hose run to the front. Or installed in the engine bay with heavy gauge power wires run all the way to the back of the car. The KB seems likes a cleaner install to me.
Contact username "Stark" he might still have a 40 amp KB BAP for sale, dont remember if he ever sold it.
Otherwise I can get you a good price on one.

Kenne Bell it is!

20a or 40a?
Is a BAP something that is plug-and-play, or is it something that has to tuned or dialed in? I honestly know nothing about them.

If you buy from vortech it comes setup without the need for a vacuum line. It is the msd one.

I didnt go with vortech, but i finished installing my MSD BAP today. The biggest bitch is jamming your ass in the trunk to get to the fuse panel and solder the wires. You gotta get flexible. To make it easier, I used w crimp and then soldered.

Running the vacuum line was easy. i did that last month, but it only took about 1 1/2 hours.

I recently got a new BAP from Magnuson. It looks nothing like the Magnavolt it replaced. I'm guessing it's a KB unit. Looks similar, but no name on it. Maybe one of the good Magnuson folks can confirm?
