2001 silverado ext cabz71 in GREAT condition, LOADED

I'm about to try to buy a camaro so i'm getting rid of my baby, my 2001 silverado with a 5.3 engine and 112,000 miles on it.i bought it about a year ago and started modding it until it became what it is today. it has had the oil changed every 3,000 miles and runs perfect. It is in great condition on the outside and inside, with the outside only having about 3 dings and the interior being pretty much perfect(leather). i treated this truck well, i waxed it every month and kept it clean at all times. it was my project truck and now it can go to anyone who wants a real eye turner that doesn't get the worst mpgs in the world....thats right i get about 15-16 in town and 20-22 on the highway...i have done mods to the engine as well though...on to the features:

6 inch pro comp lift on the front with it turned all the way down for a smooth ride, it sits at about 4.5-5 inches. the back is at my house ready to go i just never put it on i liked the way it looked.

33x12.50 18 nitto mud grapplers with about 80-85% tread on them mounted on some Mazzi Sphinx wheels that look AMAZING.

custom mesh grille...looks amazing.

painted bumper trim to match the truck

painted door handles, and painted tailgate handle

chrome silverado badges where the 1500 badges were

Z71 badges where the LT badges were

09 Z71 badge on the back by the tail lights

03 tail lights

blacked out tint, 35% on the windshield and a 8 inch strip

true duals

custom sound system with kenwood cd player, pro box with 2 boston 10s, and a 1000 watt amp along with kenwood door speakers

cold air intake

throttle body spacer

diablo predator programmer

dual mounted marine speakers in the grille of the truck with switches on the inside...hooked up to the cd player...just for some loud fun when you WANT it

I'm sure there are features i forgot to list, but i have well over $7500 in this truck, it's worth the money, and is a dependable ride. THIS TRUCK WAS NEVER TAKEN IN THE MUD, THE PERECT UNDERBODY WILL PROVE THAT TO WHOEVER COMES TO LOOK. ALL PARTS HAVE BEEN ADDED IN THE LAST YEAR, ALL BRAND NEW. i bought the truck for $12,500 and have put so much into it in the last year so i'm hoping to get between 15 and 16 so Hit me up with a pm with an offer if you're interested.

i didn't know how to put pictures but there are alot in my album and if you want my full collection i can email you.

That's a sweet truck! I could never get that to pass smog in CA without some work.

Nice looking truck, but I think you'll have a hard time selling a 2001 with 112,000miles for $16,000. Only way is to get someone with money in hand and is hell bent on getting it.
Good luck.

edit: depending on how bad you need to move it, you might want to consider selling the wheels and tires outright or offer as an extra. The lift kit doesn't really have a resale value. The truck itself is only worth about $9,500 with the wheels and tires according to kelly.

i would love to offer it as extra but....i just bought the truck like at the beginning of 09 i think? and i got the tires in sep and the wheels and lift in december....such new parts and 5 grand gone down the drain! and i bought it for 12,500! ( i only paid that because i worked with the dealer awhile and the truck is in damn near perfect condition for an 01) 9,500 would KILL me. id rather keep it and not get a camaro haha....but i doubt ill get 16. thats just my high number.....and who knows how much id get out of the lift and tires and wheels seperate....i might be better off doing that but ima try this for awhile...buy youre right, a lift has no resale value, even if it does only have 1500 miles on it lol

I agree with the poster above you. I sold my 00 Z71 LT last Nov. with almost identical miles. It was bone stock and in very good condition as well. I sold it to a friend for a considerable savings to him but I would have been lucky to get 7k out of it. Aftermarket parts add very little to the price, for the average buyer. There's no way you're going to get anywhere near $15k for that truck unless you find that special uninformed person. I do understand your situation though, just telling you the facts. IMO, you were robbed with the 12.5k selling price of the truck. I bought mine in 03 with 60k on the ticker for under 19k and it still had warranty on it. My advice would be to pay it off or near it, then sell it outright. You won't make anything on trade in. You could also try to sell the aftermarket parts off to make it cheaper. Good luck with your sale though.

Nice truck. Not a fan of the tires, but the wheels are pretty slick.

nahhh i didn't get robbed i knew the previous owner of the truck and he was a sixty seven year old golf player....the truck's gas pedal had probably never touched the floor until i bought it (mind you that i don't do it alot). i took it to my mechanic to get the engine checked and he said he had never seen a cleaner 01 with 100,000 on it, and he's been my mechanic since my dad was young, so there would have been no reason to lie. the fact is, the truck is mint, in GREAT condition. now as for money and what its "worth" idc about that im just putting it on here to see what i might get offered for a truck with only the color and the seats and the internal engine being stock....i dont even care if it doesn't move at this point, a camaro is looking less appealing finding out that the truck not gonna bring that much, or so yall say. especially with over 7500 in brand new parts...so ill most likely be keeping the big blue beast until i save up enough or get offered a decent price! thanks for the comments though.
