I saw a 2010 with a set of tweeters mounted waaaayyy down at the bottom of the pilliar last weekend. Is that what you had in mind? There is room below the bag.

Hybrid Audio Technology; Clarus 6 in the door and the Legatia L1V2 tweeter which doesn't fit in the stock location will likely go in the a-pillars.

Looks like I have some speakers to look up. Thanks! I'm pretty sure the pillar mounts that I saw were Focal 165 KRX2. They stuck out a little, but they sound awesome.

I am considering mounting tweeters low in the a pillars as well. Looking at JL C5/Z series, Focal and possibly Morel Tempo or Dotechs if I can find a place to hear them up close and personal like.

Will most definitely post pics of the whole job...if/when it occurs.

...and I just found a dealer in Austin who carries both Morel and Hybrid Audio Technology.

Thanks for the info on these AWESOME speakers!!! WOW is all I can say! Just planned out my system today. I was going with the Focal 165KRX2's until I heard these and the Morel's. Thanks!!!!!!

The shop I went to just finished a system with the Morels, audiocoustic amp, bit one signal processor and an image dynamic 10" sub. Very clean and powerful system. Not over powering on the bass side, but a great SQ setup.

Sounds like you will have fantastic system no matter which you choose. I'm using Morel for the sub (Ultimo 12) I'm a SQ guy and so overpowering bass is not important to me. I did consider Morel as well as Hertz for the speakers but I heard the HAT in a couple of competition cars and loved them. I did not have a chance to hear the Focals...
I am using two ARC Audio amps (4200SE for the front, 2300SE for the sub) and a BitOne.
I'll be posting pics of the full system once completed and I hope you will too.

I'm sure your system will be done long before mine. I've got to get the wifes new Jeep lifted, put tires and rims on it, and get her sound system done before I can do anymore work on the Camaro. Plus she keeps asking when the pool is going in. I went and bought a kiddy pool and threw it in the back yard, but she didn't seem to laugh like I did.
