Appreciate it, I got all the ideas for cosmetic 'improvements' from this forum and with everybody else figuring out how to do things, it made installation really easy. I worked at AK Sales & Service in Anchorage for many years before we moved to Juneau so I got to check out everything GM had and I haven't been excited about a car like this Camaro since we got our first Grand National in stock back in the 80's. I even had a GMC Syclone for a demo once, but this car beats 'em all with style!

Hi everyone, I'm about to move to Alaska. I should show up around the end of August. What's the weather like as far as the ability to drive? What kinds of things should I look for or be worried about? How bad do the roads get? I have a 2SS, and am moving to Anchorage.

03.. it is usually around 70-80 in Anchorage. Kind of dusty, unless the city really works hard on keeping streets cleans. Are you driving or shipping it up?? I highly recommend getting a clear bra if you can put on it before you leave. Rocks are the worst up here right now. Be nice to have another SSer here.

I suppose I could have driven it up from Washington. Oh well... I'm going to spend a few days in Vegas, and it will be here waiting for me when I get back. I looked at a few dealerships here locally, but the dealer markup was ridiculous, and they weren't moving. I'm coming out thousands cheaper this way...

Either way, I'm SSuper excited!!!
