That is not a good sign. Welcome to the forum. BTW a piece of friendly advice to keep the hazing to a minimum you may want to check your spelling, it is spelled CAMARO.

Sorry, excited about the new ride, picking it up Saturday, and not looking at spelling!

Some people are kind of touchy when it comes to spelling Camaro and they can get a little bitchy about it. I was just giving you a heads up.

Nice! I'm partial to 2nd gens since I had two of them. Once you fix it it will be a awesome baseline. If I still had my 2nd gens I would now do a LS swap.

What are your plans for the car?

Nice project. What did you pay? I so want a LS powered 81 Z28.

I've owned two 1981 Z28s. I traded in my 1st 81 Z28 with 260K miles on it with only a water pump, battery & brakes being replaced. AC still worked with no service ever.

My Wife ordered a new 1979 Camaro 305 2bl back in the day but received a 350 4bl with gauges. It ran flawless for over 140K miles before we traded it in for a new 1987 Monte Carlo SS.

I've also owned a few 1st, 3rd, 4th & 5th gen Camaros.

In my pic below left of my Challenger is my Son's 1974 Camaro 550+hp 468BBC Father/Son project.
