Lt1 rebuild
Hey im about to buy a z28 it doesnt run. it has a lt1 auto tranny. i was wondering an estimate on how much it will cost to get the engine rebuilt. im putting it all stock. ill be doing all the work so no labor included. Thanks!!!!

I see you are in Oklahoma. I don't know if XP Racing (Brett) works on LT1s, but if they don't, they can point you in the right direction.

When I had two spun bearings, I needed my cylinders to be bored out to 0.040" over, the cam polished, and the shortblock reassembled. That cost me $1200 in 2009. Just to give you a basic idea.

Sorry - I forget to visit the 4th gen section. Yes it was a shop that did all the work and rebuilt the short block.
