Brake problems

Hey guys I just need some help . I just got my permit a few months Ago and I'm not to familiar with car parts. However my family and friends drive my 2012 v6 and they say the braking is really bad? Any way to improve or is it just the fact that they drive cars with better brakes?( They drive srt8 challenger, an ss, viper , and g37) . I'm just a bit worried especially since I'm a new driver help please?

Your brakes are just fine, don't try and compare them to the high performance brakes of the other cars.

When I first drove my v6 2012 off the lot I too thought the brakes were not up to snuff. After 500 miles of daily driving they were working up to "2012 standards". I should have gone out to a vacant parking lot and bed the brakes in.
OBTW the fleet at the house includes a 2010 Tahoe which is my comparison vehicle. Big, heavy and gets driven alot.

I think I'm going to have the supplier of the brake pads on my race car to make me a set of good pads for when these hit the wear sensors.

I have a 2011 Chevy Camaro, and I am having problems with the brakes. The first time this problem occurred, I had to jump out of my car and let it go. I could not get the car to stop. I am blessed that my kids were not in the car when this accident happened. I called the dealership, and I spoke with someone from GMC about this issue. When I brought my car in to get it checked out, I was told that the brake petal and gas petal were being applied at the same time. They claimed this was the cause of the brake problems, even tho I was only going 20mph. My insurance repaired the damages to the car. When I received my car back, a couple of weeks later, the brakes started doing the same thing again. If someone cannot get their car to stop, when the brakes are being applied, that is a major issue. Is there anyone having similar problems with their brakes?

I apologize for your frustration. Have you taken your vehicle back to the dealership again? If you want to private message me details (first and last name, address, VIN, mileage, and involved dealership) I can look into this for you. I look forward to hearing from you.
