The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my next
Track fix.

OK, that's it, all I got. That amount of cars I missed is depressing. Next year I am going for both days. As you can all see this is one HELL of a show. If you are in the area or plan on visiting Chicago next year make it around this time and make this show. You will NOT be disappointed. There were somewhere around 500 cars here and I did not and could not get pictures of them all.

I hope y'all enjoy these pictures.

Great pics T-Bone. Thanks for Posting.

The official count was over 500 of the best Muscle cars, race cars, Corvettes and 5th Gen Camaros, ever under one roof at the same time.

jesus, that's almost more eye candy than one can stand...

the 2011 berger is pure sex. i like the other 5th gens, but i think the stinger hood belongs on the corvette and it's way overused on other cars.

Thanks for the compliments on the show. We all work very hard to get the very best cars of all Makes and models into the show.

Make certain to put it on your calendar for next year! The weekend before Thanksgiving.

Regarding the "Stinger" Hoods......they are part of both the Super Car as well as Nickey culture and heritage.

You will Notice in TBones pics that some of significant Camaros had a Stinger hood on them from back in the day. The Camaro Stinger hood was first designed and used by Nickey Chicago back in 1966 and it was clearly borrowed from the 427 Corvette, not only to provide additional clearance for the hi-rise and multiple carb set up, but to signify that there was indeed a very special engine under the hood of that particular Camaro, usually a 427ci engine.

Look at the hood on Fred Gibb's '67 Z28 Little Hoss and see how we matched that hood to the Fred Gibb serial number one car.

See the '68 Blue Motion Camaro or the white '67 Yenko Camaro.....both 427 Super cars with Stinger Hoods.

All of the Camaros in our display are customer cars and the customer chose to incorporate the Stinger Hoods into their custom built 5th gens. It is not a requirement...just personal preference.

PS; TBone you have earned media credentials for next years event...thanks again.

Those are some beautiful cars to be sure; however there is one question which still burns in my mind after seeing them all.......

Why the he** would anyone want to put Nissan (or Datsun) 260/280 Z headlights in an otherwise perfectly good early 70's Corvette?

Joel Rosen's wild designs are part of his legacy. Many of these Corvettes are valued at $100,000.00s of thousands of dollars and are highly saught after by Motion collectors today.

One of the aspects which makes MCACN such a special show is that we celebrate diversity. Imagine how boring the show would be with 500 cars all looking the same.
