Blinker placement opinions
I don't know about you all, but apart from the fact that the rear air slots aren't cut out, the hood scoop isn't functional and the different bumpers my only real gripe would be the placement of the blinkers shown on the concept and the ones on the production model. The ones on the concept made the fascia look so much badass I think, but bringing them to the inside of the grill well to me the front doesn't look as wide as it used to i.e. I don't like it!..BUT the rest of the vehicle is tits what do you all think or did someone beat me to it a long time ago

I thought the concepts signal lights were nice but I like the production version as well. I'll take either set-up.

I'm happy with them.
I'm sure a local shop will cut those slits for you. Make sure they sand and repaint the area to make it look clean.

I do believe that those locations are mandated (most likely) by gov't and state law.
You might want to check into it before cutting and removing. If you go through all that work and then can't register/inspect your vehicle, it wouldn't be worth the risk on all the traffic tickets. |

I'm with you on this one. The original blinker location looked much better IMO. The production placement makes the front end look crowded. If it is a legal issue I would have preferred they placed the blinkers on the corner of the fender as opposed to where they are now. I guess I'll have to get used to it.
I too wish they would have cut out the shark gills on the rear fender. What's the point in having them if they aren't cut out? Aerodynamic drag my butt. More like cost cutting. A 422 HP motor would have no problem dealing with what little drag if any the fender gills would create. Very disappointing. But hey, it is what it is. |

The blinkers were moved due to them being recessed in the front bumper. You couldn't see them clearly from an angle and the side turn signals are harded to see then the bigger main signal lamps.
They're easier to see from oncoming traffic on the inside of the headlights. |

Call me crazy, but I like the production light placement better...
It makes the eyes look wider and the blnkers now flow with the bottom bumper better than before.. Looking at the concept now looks cross-eyed to me.. |

I don't mind them either way. I mean, I like the placement either way. So, moving them is no gripe from me.

Its actually better on the inside. Now theyre out of the way and we get bigger headlights, and they canbe seen. Everybody wins.

They weren't cut out back in the day of the first gens. They aren't cut out now. Big deal. If you dont' want to cut them out, an alternative is getting black vinyl stickers for them. You achieve the look without cutting the body. |
