Should I be worried? Cam Question

Hi Guys,

So ill be dropping my 1LE off at a local shop (will remain unnamed for now), but I am starting to worry about the Gains I will get.

Currently my car is stock but below is what I am adding within the next month total (some work by me some by the shop) or what else is already on.

Already Done:
AFE Pro5R Intake with DryS filter

Going on:
TSP 1 7/8 LT, Catless Leads, TSP 3" Exhaust
Custom Grind Cam Package (shop calls it their Stage3 Cam) + all necessary hw with it (new rods, springs, seats and so on)

He had a 2012 45th in with LT's and it got the same package and dynoed out at 426WHP after doing 393 with just LT's. I was initially going to go with the LG G6X3 Cam but he sold me on his Stage3 Cam with promises of 460+whp.

I know all cars are different but to me 426whp on a cammed car seems low as ive seen in person our cars do near that with just LT's and Tune.

Now should I be worried?

The guys at Livernois promised me 460-480 Realistic WHP (not a hero run), im dropping 3400 on the Cam Package/Install/Tuning and dont want to drop that on only a 30WHP gain.

I'm doing pretty much exactly the same set up you are. My only concern is the oil pump issues on these ls3's. I was told the same as you as far rwhp goes.....480ish.

Oil Pump is being ported and shimmed, been reading online and it seems to do the trick. The melling pump is also an option. I just dont want to drop that much money when I could have gone somewhere else and for the same money or less get more power.

I'm also doing a Custom cam by Comp specially made for my Turbo car. Which will provide me with a choppy idle. Also changing to dual valve springs . The cam will be 3 bolt therefore I must get a 3 bolt timing kit. And high performance pushrods. I'm at 509 RWHP with the turbo. The shop was also gonna change the waste gates springs to 9lbs to increase to 8 psi. Plus a custom tune all for about $3,129 I live I CA .
And I was told I would make from 580 to 600

That's what I've read as well it just adds to the price. With headers n cats n cam/install/tune plus the melling pump it's around 4k. That eats a big chunk of my "wifey don't know about" mod money lol.

Good to know, my gut is right. The shop told me 470+ when I made the appt, now after seeing the 426whp dyno I am worried.
