Autocross airbags again...

Had my side curtains deploy during an autocross even back in august. I got into a small drift and tbey deployed.

I only replaced the seat belts, because they would have had my car for over 2 months conducting an investigation.

This weekend i braked hard prior to entering a corner and my seat belts locked tight again. Pretty sure if i had rhe side curtains replaced that they would have deployed

Is there a way to get the same calibration for the airbag/restraint system as in the LZ1 or 1LE?

Actually I think there was some sort of reflash/"calibration" that was done for those.... I thought.... it is something the dealer can do I think.

It's normal for the seat belt to lock on a hard stop; that's what keep you in place.

Tyler, its completely unecessary. If I can brake from 60-0 MPH in 103 feet without blowing the seat restraints, I sure as hell better be able to brake at 30/40-0 in a straight line at an autocross event. I will probably be making a GM claim on this one.

I run with him in my 1LE and I can drive more aggressively without those problems. I'm run Toyo R888's on stock wheels also. Hope you find a fix

Fuse pull and it shouldn't happen. There are two or three that need to be pulled. I used to do it but I decided that on stock wheels/tires I'm not going nearly aggressive enough for them to deploy so I quit pulling my fuses.

Vehicle was hit while parked in Virginia back in 2012. Dealership replaced the front left fender and door and DID NOT replace the crash sensor. According to a local dealership (TSB) in Phoenix, where i bought the car, said that the sensor must be replaced. Looks like the dealership in Hampton VA will be splitting the bill on 4k damage. Calling insurance tomorrow.
