Painted their ground effects on their ZL1?
Has anyone painted their ground effects to match the color of their car?

I have done so on my 13 BRM Coupe! I didn't care for the difference in color from top to bottom, seems too separated! So needless to say I went ahead with painting the GFX and I love it!

I think this may be nice on dark colour car.. Black , Ashen Grey etc.. but for example on mine (Inferno Orange) it would look too orange..I like the contrast orange/black...

Pwrhsezl1... Love the look.... Can you take a closer pic of the front and rear? Mine is red and I'm trying to envision it all one color. If its a pain in the ass I understand!

I actually matched the top to the bottom with a matte paint. I get my matching wheels next week and will post more pics then, but this will give you an idea of what I am doing

That looks really good PWRHSEZL1. I was thinking of doing the same. The lighter colored cars its a must cause they look unfinished with the matt black. They should come painted. JMO.

Personally I am have 2 looks on this, does that look super clean and sharp on darker colours yes it looks great actually!
But on my glass half empty view! I would never do it with the dust and fine sands that get on our roads up north! It would look like it was hit by a sandblaster by the end of one summer, the rough raw exposed plastic, it's easy to shine and the sanded roads don't effect the look at all! But like I said ill give ya kudos for the sharp look bro! |
