Need ideas to lighten up the car please.

Anyone taken things off to lighten the car up for the track? Tire inflator, rear seat...What can we easily remove to shave weight?

Thanks!

Hood, trunk lid, fenders could all be made out of carbon fiber. Lightweight rim combos, gutted interior (but hard to imagine with a brand new car), some suspension options give lighter weight. Drivers can sometimes need lightening also.

LMAO.....I went overboard with the modding on my Mustang because I have not fully commited to the driver mod yet. Figured a few more hundred HP was easier than a good diet.

Not counting money as an issue I think there is a good 300lbs that can be shaved off the Camaro.

The driver comments are pretty funny. A friend of mine races road bikes (like Lance Armstrong), and those guys talk in grams...Cheapest/easiest way to save weight is to focus on the rider. Not the case with our heavy beast.

You could traded on a mustang. That would be the easiest. Great deals right now.
