OxiClean for Adams Towels?
Is is safe to use oxiclean spray on the Adams towels to get some stubborn stains out? Anyone tried this before, the detail spray tends to turn my double plush towels pink and I am trying to figure out how to get them "unpink".

What are you using for cleaner? Generally for stubborn stains you can just pretreat spots with your microfiber cleaner. I use Blackfire.
I can't comment with 100% certainty on OxiClean, but I would *Think* it should be fine.

I don't have any microfiber cleaner, I usually just throw the towels in to wash right after I use them but I made the mistake of letting them set last time and now they are pink. The wife had some Oxiclean stain treatment in the cupboard I was gonna try.

You can pre-treat spots with either APC or our Microfiber Revitalizer and Brightener, or do a pre-soak in a bucket. Either method will help "soften" the trouble spots so they will come out easier when you run them through the wash cycle. |

I use the following general process for cleaning my micro fiber and Adams towels:
1. Pre-treat heavy stains on towels with a little Shout. 2. Fill washer on heavy cycle, warm water with a cap of Tide, and a scoop of oxyclean. 3. Throw in pretreated towels into load (always by themselves). 4. After cycle completes, rewash a quick cycle with 1 oz of Adams microfiber revitalizer. 5. Put towels in the dryer for 20 to 30 minutes alone, with NO fabric softener or dryer sheets. I know two wash cycles might be excessive for some, but the regular detergents and oxyclean do a great job of removing stains, and the second cycle with the Adams microfiber towel revitalizer helps maintain the functionality of the towels and helps remove any detergent still lingering.

I've not done a tone of testing with the oxiclean stuff b/c most times I see it the concentrate is a 'powder' which I never recommend for microfiber as theres always the chance of an undiluted granule.

This stuff is just a spray on, spray it, let it soak in, then wash it. In truth I can't see it hurting them, I mean APC is probably a lot harsher of chemical and it doesn't hurt it.

Worked great, took the stains out before I washed it even, just rubbed it in and the stains came out, Billy Mays wasn't screaming about nothing after all, of course the coke probably had something to do with that....
