Flowmasters, Will they Fit my 2015 LT???

Hello guys,
So my friend has a stock V6 2011 Camaro and I bought his flowmasters from him to put on my 2015 V6. My concern however is will they got my car? My car has weird mufflers on there (the stock ones) and he says they will but I don't see how. So my question is, can the muffler shop do it or what? Any help here is much appreciated.

Here is a pic of my car with the stock mufflers:

And here is a pic of the flowmasters I want to put on from his car:

Don't see why not, my Corsa mufflers sit a little lower than the stockers but are fine.

Alright, just seems like it would not fit, thanks, sorry I'm a mood with exhaust and stuff haha.

I'm gonna go in tomorrow I guess and try to have them installed at my muffler shop, I'm hoping the work okay.

They will fit. Listen to the YouTubes before you weld it on though. Not everybody digs the FM on a V6.

To each his own though... sound is very subjective.

Loved my FM on the V8, but my shop (who deal heavily with FM) doesn't even recommend them anymore for V6. Too many unhappy customers. A lot of ppl like Borla, MRT and even MagnaFlow for their 6's.

Why is your friend removing them?

They will fit, a good muffler shop can make anything work. The V6 sound with flows is subjective. Magnaflow might be a better choice.

Just had the cold air inductions and MRT 2.0 installed yesterday. Let me tell you it sounds so mean and badass. MRT exhaust is one of the most popular for the V6 camaro. This is just my 2 cents and you can do what you want

He did a muffler and res delete, it's too loud like that lol. I liked them on his car, sounded nice and deep

They are on but they seem much quieter on my car then his. They were used for a few thousand miles and then they were taken off and have sat for about two months. Could they need to be broken in again?

Flowmasters don't get broken in. There is no packing (Fiberglass) material used on the inside. Just metal plates and tubes creating pressurized chambers. Being too quiet could just be a result on what type of muffler they are. Flowmaster makes a wide variety of mufflers from mild to wild. Do you know what type these are?

Your friend has a completely different engine than you. The 2011 V6 was the LLT, your 2015 is an LFX. I'm not sure if the stock cat back is the same on the two, but I would assume that it was not. It doesn't sound the same because your comparing apples to oranges.
