I now exclusively run Esso 93. If im gonna pay this crazy amount for gas, I might as well gett the most out of it that I can!
Hummm...really? I know the winter fuel at Petro-Canada is different and will lower you KM/liter.

The thing is with Petro-Canada, I get .07cents off every liter. so at 1.519 is 1.449 equals to $4.50 a tank in discount.

As of today you can get a 10 cents card per liter discount too. Add that to your 2 cents/liter discount when paid with your Petro-Canada MasterCard...it's 12 cents a liter.

Yes really.

I'm not talking about the winter gas formula. I was almost exclusively running Petro 91 throughout the winter...i saw the difference in mileage once the weather got warmer. Once it started to warm up, i switched back to Ultra94.

The mileage difference from winter 91 to summer 94 was negligible, but changing completely from Ultra 94 to Esso 93...same driving style, same amount of driving, etc, i ALWAYS squeeze at the minimum, 30-40km's PER tank compared to Ultra94.

I needed gas bad last week one day and there was no Esso's where I was so i had to put a shot of Ultra 94 in the tank to get me by...i tossed in $20 worth and it lasted 80km's. I know for a fact that if im low and put in $20 of Esso 93, i can go at least 100km's of mixed city/highway. Keep in mind, i have a fairly aggressive driving style with a heavy right foot...but that just adds more fuel to the fire...why piss away more money consistently to petro when I can get more "bang for the buck" with 93?

I wish the car ran as good on Shell Vpower 91 as it does on 93...but i've proven that too...the car runs smoother on 93 vs 91.

That's a lot! It might be worth doing a comparison test. I'm kind of bum to hear this...

How about performance? anything changed? 0-100

WOT performance feels exactly the same. I tried a few 0-100 runs using my buddies Dynolicious app, but since the bolt-ons the car has way worse traction now then when it was 100% stock. I managed a 4.78 0-102 with nothing but spin.

With Esso 93, I was able to trap a best of 113.6MPH in the 1/4-mile w/ CAI & Longtubes, high flow cats, resonated X in-place of my stock H-pipe, muffler deletes as my only mods 2 weeks ago at TMP. Im not dyno-tuned yet. On average the car traps 112mph. My race-weight is exactly 4140lbs.

I trapped 109mph factory stock with Ultra94 in the tank.

I was about to ask you if you had mods... perhaps that would affect fule concumption? This might be a case by case effect. I would have to try it. And I will

My car is a daily driver...i drove it as is through the winter...ive tried the different gases (91 vs 93 vs 94) and seen the affects on mileage the mods made compared to stock. I've done my mileage comparison with the different gases with the exact mods I have right now.

I'm a stickler for getting as much mileage as I can while getting the most performance that I can...always have been, always will be.

Try it out yourself...I told a few few of my buddies about my results so they've decided to try Esso 93 for themselves too and so far the 2 most common responses from them are "the car noticeably runs smoother and Ive gotten more mileage out of every fill up".

Obviously every car is different and results will varry simply based off different driving styles/habits for everyone.

Try it out yourself.

The 10 cent card costs 24,000 points compared to 12,000 points for a 5 cent card so they both save you the same amount of money.

Not really since points dont costs nothing. They are given with purchases. I get about that amount every month by using my Mastercard as usual.

I havent tried the new Esso 93 but it should get better gas mileage than Sunoco Ultra 94.

The Ultra 94 is 10% methanol which has half the BTU's of gasoline.

Figuring on a 50L fill you would have 5L of methanol in your tank.

5L at 15kms per litre = 75kms but the 94 would give you half that on the 5L of alcohol.

Performance should be close or better for the new Esso 93 as Shell 91 got slightly lower track #'s in my 99TA than the Sun 94.
