Z28 Heritage grill and 1LE lip on 2014 SS
This weekend, finally got all the parts to revamp my front end. I cracked my ACS style lip coming out of a driveway last week so I replaced it with a 1LE style lip from Ikon Motorsports. While the lip was off, I wrapped the center section of my front bumper matte black.
The next day, feeling motivated, I pulled off the front bumper and it was pretty straight forward, the top inside 10mm bolt was the hardest to get off. When I got to removing the stock SS grill, man those clips were a pain and theres a lot of them! It took me an hour and a half to figure those out. After that, popping in the GM Z28 heritage grill, new yellow LED fog lights and wrapping the eyebrows matte black went smoothly. Overall removing those damn grille clips and learning how to wrap around complex bends were the hardest challenges. Love my new front end, totally changed the whole look of the car!

I wonder if there is a way to run the z28 grill and keep the rs trim instead of only having it over the headlights, or delete the trim over the headlights and cover the holes with matching color vinyl...

There's no real way to keep the rs trim with the Z28 grill as the clips for the trim are quite intrusive to the rs grill and the Z28 grill is flush with the top of the bumper while the rs grill hangs below to allow for the trim. Best bet would be to remove the eyebrows and color match vinyl the huge rectangular hole on the sides of the headlights or get real good with filler and have a body shop paint to match. Honestly though, with the eyebrows being black, from far away you can't even tell.
