So what happens insurance wise when the OP is not at fault? Assuming the car will be totaled does he get a new car fair and square?

i am really impressed with how much the structural integrity held up on this car. glad you are ok as well. fog is nasty crap i don't drive in it unless i have to. if i were you i would take this opportunity to upgrade good luck!!!!

Glad to hear everyone was OK.

It is sad, but, you can honor the memory of your car that sacrificed itself, so that you could live.

It's times like this that I'm reminded why this car has some of the weight it does... I still don't like it, but, I can respect and understand it.

Everyone should take a nice long look at the impact markings... This could have ended very tragically and we have design/implementation engineers to thank for the fact that it did not.
