Lexus LF-A: Yay or Nay?
Here's the spec sheet thus far (courtesy of autoblog):
Style wise, its the most interesting design out of Toyota in a while (though that isn't saying much). I also think they should have gone with a larger engine. Too small of a torque peak at too high of an rpm. That will definitely hurt its midrange acceleration, heck it hurts its low end acceleration too. 10% more power than a Z06 and no faster to 60 mph.

No such thing as a 'well equipped' Corvette ... but a loaded Z06 is $87,435 including destination. That price also includes chrome wheels, 2 vehicle covers, and 1 set of pedal covers, among other more useful items.

well then it seems that i would get the Z06 and use the extra $$$ to pump it full of mods
plus i like the style of the Corvette better, although that lexus isn't bad, but i am partial to the Vettes...

I like it. If I had to buy a foreign car it would be a Lexus and this would be it.
Ok............ the price tag is a bit out of my range............... Ok......... a LOT out of my range but it looks great and I have no doubt it would perform great. Bonnies IS350 impressed the hell out of me. |

"560 hp at 8,700 RPM (that's 116.5 hp/liter) and 354 lb.-ft. of torque at 6,800 RPM"
the only thing i would want making peak power at those rpm's would be a motorcycle. No thank you, in that price range I would take a ZR1 'vette. Or something better looking like a V8 Vantage |

ZR1. Better performance. Save some money too.
