hanging out at Bruce's shop (Raymond's performance) was awesome. Pete asked me WHY I wanted to go to RAYMOND'S PERFORMANCE on Thursday when I didn't need to.. I replied "Hey.. I'm a car guy.. it's what I do". Hell - half the fun of cars is wrenching on them. I was glad to get my hands dirty and help with stuff, after sitting in the truck for so long.
Dan,I'm glad you made it out to the shop.We had been crazy busy all week before the fest,it was alot of work and alot of fun.We got see some old freinds and make some new ones, what a great fest.

Glad to have you along on the ride, just wish i would have had more time to get a ride in yours at the fest. That car is beautiful and just as badass as i expected! Garth and I both made the quick 16, but i had some engine trouble and lost to a 10.9 while i ran a 11.04 (the worst of all my runs). I red lighted or an almost perfect light (.009) as i like to call it but that didnt matter since it was heads up and he ran faster than me anyways. Eric from Raymonds found out that my intercooler pump for the maggie wasnt working and causing way more heat than normal. Its currently at the shop having some things done to it and getting some wiring done.

Glad you made it home safe
Women are just that way. When you don't pay enough attention to them they get cranky. I suggest you start sucking up to Maggie Pump and she'll cool off.

She needs to start putting out more! I'm adding a friend for miss Maggie Pump...... A custom build ice chest with pump from Chisel Performance. That should do the trick and keep miss Maggie Pump happy.

Dan, your daughter is adorable and my family enjoying talking to you and your family. Glad i got to spend some time with you at Bruce's as well.

Garth, you had my mom (pit crew) smiling for remember the storys i told you on here years ago. I really appreciated spending time talking with you and your family. My family mentioned having a great time talking with you and your family as well....very much appreciated. We found some problems my car is having and will be tackling them starting Monday morning. I will update you on my changes since you and i spoke so much about both of our cars. Looking forward to meeting you again.

Hope everyone had a safe trip home. I dont know about you guys, but im exhausted

and Brandon (se7en) should have made it as well with that awesome car he has. Brandon had run a 10.8 when I spoke with him.

Rain on Saturday afternoon killed the event shoot out..

I had a great time on the autocross track. I think I brought almost every Moderator that attended the fest for a ride in my car...

My wife, son and I had a blast. Blake took a ride with Dan on the Autocross and had permagrin bad I did make the quick 16 with a 11.405 @ 122.96 & 1.719 60' time, but chose to do Autocross with Dan that I've never done and doing tire swaps would have taken all my time. BTW, that run was against Brandon with 10.888 @ 124.36 & 1.526 60' (so "junk in the trunk" works!) Probably would have helped to replace the 275's on the front with my skinnys - but Camaro was packed full & no room for skinnys without shipping. I got so wrapped up in the events last year and hardly saw the vendors till shut down time, so decided to divide my time better this year. I really enjoyed talking at length with Dan, Brandon, vendors and the LPE/Pedders crews.

So all my limping and leg cramping at the fest ended up not being a pulled muscle, but pinched nerves to keep it simple. But sit in the Camaro and drive all day.... no problem! .... go figure

So here's a good shot with Dan & Blake getting ready for action.... plus a couple Blake snapped off

Pete, you hit the nail on the head. Mine was foaming and had to be sucked/evacuated and refilled 4 times till things flowed nicely - caught it the night before leaving for Indy. But giving the girls a nice icy cold drink between runs should keep em predictably happy.

The question for Brandon is..... salt or no salt, and what kind of Tequila?

Brandon does have both front seats..

Not sure if you want him turning corners, though.

That Grey car only knows how to go FAST straight...
