2015 ZL1 Front conversion headlight question.

Hey guys,

I have 2015 1LT convertible. I am thinking of ZL1 front bumper conversion and when i saw pictures of them online i saw the headlight for ZL1 looks lot like 2010-2013 camaro with just 1 projector.

My question if when i do the conversion. Will i be able to reuse my non RS lights? or can 2010-2013 RS headlights work with 2014-2015 ZL1 bumper.

Nope you will need to convert over to the 2010-2013 headlights, side markers, and a few other items.

You won't need new side markers.
Bumper (with new grilles) / headlights / wiring harness

Hi if i can help, side markers are the same, but its not only the headlights, don't forget the turn signals, and PS thats the most costly part for the harness.

This whole thing seems very expensive. I might just buy the u shaped headlights and a lip.

I think pairing the bumper is probably the most expensive thing. Something like 250-300

Guessing you meant painting, yes painting the bumper will be costly. Gen5DIY has tons of customized harnesses so they can easily get you situated with a working harness. The ZL1 bumper is costly too, along with RS headlights.

You can get back some of your investment by selling off your current headlights+bumper if they are in good shape. They should cover the bumper cost + headlight cost.

If you do choose to go the U-shaped halo route. I recommend you get a harness with the features you are looking for. I believe they make a harness where your DRL are the fogs + U halos. Then at nighttime your low beams will come on in addition.
