I think I read some where the LS3 is made at the St. Catharines Powertrain Plants in Canada. Found it... see page 3 of this link.

I hope it is Canada, cause I just found out that the 6.1 Hemi is made in Mexico which has sent me running to the Camaro. I have been restoring a 72 Trans Am for the last 5yrs and will be finished in a few months, so I have been pro Pontiac for the last 5yrs I am putting it up for sale and wanted to use the money for a Beefy modern day muscle car, it is a lot less worry. I will be going after a Black SS with the 6spd in few months, I am sure it will be sweet!

Thanks
Tim

Just to let you know the Camaro feels like the roof has been chopped when your sitting in the car ! Plus with the traction control off the car goes Ape S--t. The V6 with only 5 hp less than Mustang GT. The SS should eat every thing in it's path. They did this one right thats for sure !

If you ask some folks on here, they will say Mt. Olympus. After all, the LSx series of GM motors have been blessed by the gods!

It should be. I'm pretty sure all the LSx motors were/are built there. (could be wrong, though)
