? about car's response when tires break loose

How does the car act when it looses traction at high RPM WOT?

At WOT and higher RPM it seems like my tires break loose and then it feels like the car kind of cuts off but it could be me reacting poorly too. I don't think anything is wrong I am just not sure how the car acts when the tires start to spin.

Related- I had an incident earlier today at WOT at the top of 2nd gear (right in front of the GM Tech Center which was cool) and it seemed like the trans wouldn't shift but the engine would cut kind of like a normal car would do at fuel cut off or rev limit. I talked to Ted and he said my using the press TC button twice was doing it and I need to just turn it all off with the 8 sec hold. I did that and it seems to have fixed that issue but there is still a similar feel to my traction problem.

It could be something like that, the load disappears and it falls apart. That's why I am thinking it's ok. It's hard to test and tune on the street with this much power and volume so I only get a second to hear and feel what's happening.
