i ordered 22813040 from my local gm dealer as well as 4 bearings after being advised by the mechanic that that's all they will need because of the original bearings will be damaged in the process of exchanging the differentials.
is he correct? Is that all i need to install? i ordered bearings #34, 16 and 6(x2) from the diagram below. Can someone confirm if that is all i need?  also about the calibrations, they told me it is some kind of software they just have to order for $50 to recalibrate the ECM. Am I getting shafted here? |

FINALLY!! 3 months of waitng and I just got my (3.91 1LE Gear Kit) in today at my dealership and picked them up. Can't wait for them to be installed.

Can anyone post a scan or link to the instruction sheet. I have a set of the 3.91's (not the full kit, omly the gears) and they did not come with anything.

I was quoted $637 for this kit by my dealership. Seems high? They did show avaiability from Lansing.
