I can't take credit for the idea, I was in the garage and mentioned to my wife that I didn't have any sheet metal and didn't really want to buy any, the wife looks at me and says, can you use a license plate? I can now!!!!

My amp is pretty big, a license is a little longer and wider than the BA amp. I laid out the stock amp lines, cut it and put bends in the ends to hook into the stock mount. I then took a second plate to span the first plate since my amp was much wider, and it fit. I will post a pic tomorrow. You can't really see the plates.

I'll pull it apart tonight, The pieces I made to span the base plate are velcro'd to the base plate. It may sound weak but velcro is more than enough to hold the amp to the base plate, and it makes removing everything easy. I am still waiting on some cables so I won't be done with my project until Friday.
