Repairing factory stripes
Can someone point me in the direction of an online supplier to repair the factory stripes on my SS? The color is white and I don't know what size the small stripes are. Thanks for the help. The pic says it all:

Try a ruler to measure them. Any auto parts store should have pinstripe tape. Proble is going to be matching the white. I'd just get another set.

Remove them or buy a new set... Good opportunity to try something new...

That's the problem with vinyl. Once something happens it's nearly impossible to repair properly. You can try the suggestion above but I agree your best bet is to replace.
Just get them painted on and you don't need to worry about that. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

Look for a sign shop that does automotive work or a place that does vehicle wraps. They should be able to just replace the outside pin stripe. The whole pin stripe should be replaced to look right.

I'm putting rally stripes on my car soon, but due to the amount of pebbles on our roads year round, I'm also going to get the hood wrapped in 3M.
Sorry to hear about your dilemma, but a graphics shop should be able to set you up with a cure. |

When I take off the existing stripes- will the paint be ok underneath? I would love to add pace car stripes but really don't know who to buy from. Being located in north central Mississippi, there isn't a shop I can find that will talk to me about applying the stripes. I'm about 3.5 hrs. away from Memphis. Anyone know of a reputable shop around there?
I am going to install a wing also. Are all those about all the same quality? Any one vendor in particular to purchase from? Should the pace car stripes wrap the wing also? |

Stripes are gone. I found a shop to sell/ install the pace car stripes. I also ordered a wing from shopchevyparts.com.

Looks great just like that. In the event my stripes get damaged, they'll be removed and NEVER replaced.
I already had them replaced during the warranty period; should of had them taken off then. Sorry, but, I never liked these "mustang stripes" from the first day I saw them on the pace car, just for that reason.
