Paint!!!!

I have a 2012 Victory Red Camaro SS Convertible.
Went to the Keys in it over the weekend and now have what looks like white road paint spots all over front of car. They are on complete front including lights, all black plastic, widshield and even some on hood and wing mirrors!!!
Has anyone had the same problem and how did you get it off without damaging clear coat or paint? Is clay bar a good idea.
Thank you.
Mark

Sounds like a car in front of you ran over something spraying it onto your car. What it is will depend on the removal

Clay bar is always a good idea.
I did mine this week just for the hell of it.
I do it a few times a year.

This. But let me add that the dawn wash will not remove all of the wax (if you wax your car). You'll want to get some IPA and dilute it 50/50 with water and give the car a good wipedown. Then follow up with claybar. That should take care of it.

Try to get it off yourself asap. If you can't, you can always put in an insurance
comprehensive claim. They may direct you to a local detail shop to try to get it off.
It's a non chargeable claim but you my have a comp deductable and again, either way,
you must do this immediately.
I know that yellow line paint dries like concrete- white I'm not sure.

on the plastic you might try rubbing alcohol or something like goo-gone.

I had a problem like that following an eighteen wheeler on a freshly tared asplaht road. Strugling with bug and tar remover someone from a nearby shop showed me to use deisel. I was weary about that so I did it an a small inconspicous spot first and it worked great but the main thing is not to do it in the sun or it will cook your paint. Once you finish wash with regular dish soap really well then re-wax.

wd-40 works pretty good to remove unwanted bugs and tar, too. Good luck!

all petroleum distillates are good solvents ie gasoline, kerosene, wd-40, diesel. All of these tend to be good at removing bugs and tar. I have had more than my share of experiences with gasoline and wd-40.

That's why if you look at pretty much any bottle that is a "bug and tar remover", you will see that it is a petroleum distillate.

You could use an enamel paint reducer. I rewash the area where I used it then clay polish and/ or wax.

However, I have never used it on black plastic!!!
