Winter Storage No Garage HELP!
I want to store my Bee for the winter but I have no garage. It will sit in the driveway with a very expensive cover on it. I want to put it up on blocks but can't find any information about where on the undercarriage I should put the blocks. (I'm using wood 4x4's) Anyone have a picture of the underbody and maybe some points about where to put the blocks?
I have filled the fuel tank, will add stabalizer, I'm pulling the battery and the plates. Any other suggestions? TIA!

I would put the front blocks under the cross member under the engine block, the rears i would put right onto the rockers just in front of the rear wheels...
That is if you put it with the wheels hanging....i think it's better on the suspension to not do that. buy the wheel savers that you lower the car onto. keeps your wheels round, and saves your joints....

Air the tires 10 pounds over factory recommendations. Flat-spotting should not be a problem. Also, don't let moisture get under the cover and sit on the paint or the paint could cloud.

Holy crap man, Mass isn't that far away bring her over here and store her, the place I am using is literally attached to a NYS Troopers barracks so I know she'll be safe . |

Thanks for the suggestions. I got it up on blocks. Getting the cover on in a windstorm proved to be futile. Will try again today.

Send your Camaro to me...I will house it for the winter. Keep the battery charged and everything. Only going to cost you a new set of tires and a few thousand miles on the odometer. No charge. You have good insurance, right?

the cover will trap moisture, especially when temps swing. Also, your paint will take a beating from the wind flapping the cover, no matter how tight you think you get it. I would try like h3ll to find an indoor spot.

We've used California Car Cover's Superweave cover for 5yrs and now the sixth on our Corvette. In Chicago winters, goes in clean and bright, comes out clean and bright .......well worth it!

I got a 5 layer Xtreme Cover Pro for it. I am going to have to get some weighted clips to keep it on in the wind though. I AM looking for indoor housing, but not easy or cheap to find. Had an offer from a fellow with an old chicken barn that's now empty. But I worry about mice in old barns. I got the Bounce sheets in there but still...
