Vinyls safe in car wash??? quick please :)
Are vinyls safe in the car wash? I put them on yesterday... I am sitting outside the car wash lol.

I haven't had any issues with "no-touch" washes and my hood,roof, tail stripes, however the little vinyl stripes a put on the gills have had issues coming off.

The vinyl is safe but your car paint is not. Hand wash it.

yes, but wouldn't hurt to put a coat of wax over it before you subject it to car washes.

anytime you use high pressure water sprayers on vinyl you take the chance of stripping them off

Sometimes time isn't available for hand washing.
I use only high pressure washers to prevent swirls, especially during winter time.. Vinyls should be ok with those. Going through a rag auto wash, especially with the guys at the end using bath towels, will cause swirl marks. |

Only if they're the glossy ones! If they're flat-finished, DO NOT put wax on them. It is painful to strip crappy-looking wax off of flat-finish vinyl stripes.
