Mine is a DD too I got it back two days ago and put it over 150 miles so far. For me the car runs perfectly good with stock stall.

I have a GPI VVT SS1, GPI ported heads, stock stall, stock SC pulley, in my LSA SC conversion and love it! Tuned by Ryan ... 590+ RWHP! Ryan is top notch....

If I had a L99 I would talk to GPI and get one of their vvt cams. Just look at ProStockJohn and 62nalide's track times. I have their SS3 cam in my LS3 and I'm happy.

Are you doing the VVT SS2 or the 3 Bolt SS2 cam in your car? I am having a BTR Stg 2 cam and GM Perf Parts ported heads installed on my car right now, so I'd like to know which cam your using. I also am having a 3800 stall Circle D converter done with the OE 3.27 gears still in the car. Are you doing a converter at the same time? What about rear gears?

VVT SS2 and keeping stock stall for now but will do a 3000/3200 stall later. I considered going 3.91s but a lot of ppl suggested with a cam that might be too much gear as 1st in our cars is very aggressive.
