no regrets at all. installed h&r springs, the ride is a little stiffer, but there is very little body anymore. most of the cars i have had have been lowered, so i'm kinda use to how it rides..

I went to my local Parts Plus shop (where I purchased my rims) and they said they are waiting on the specs for the C5 to adjust for the tow-in after dropping the car. Is this B.S or is there a spec sheet they need to make adjustments?

Install is very easy to do with hand tools and a Jack. Go to auto parts store and get a set of spring compressors, they are free to use and return, and that is all you need.

Crappy roads and I bottom out a lot....Probably hitting the bump stops which Pedders says DO NOT CUT!.....
Love the look and handling though. I'll end up with coilovers soon.....

So you are going to install coilovers? Was the spring replacement just a temp solution to coilovers? I'm shopping for coilovers right now as I want to run 19x10.5's up front. It seems that everyone is going with springs instead of coilovers...

No need to have any extra parts. I've had the Eibachs on for a week+ and love every minute of driving it. As part of the install you'll cut about an inch off the bump stops. My car was lowered exactly 1 inch. Was 30" to the top of the fender well and now it's 29".

Hello again,

The site I ordered the springs from was www.Streetsideauto.com I found them by doing a search on google of the Eibach Spring P/N which is 38144.140. I just went through all of the online stores until I found the best deal. On that day, 12/27/09, they had a holiday discount code worth $25 off. The springs were $219 with free shipping -$25 which brought the total to $194. Delivery was quick. I think they shipped the day after I ordered them and they came from Kansas via Fed Ex Ground in 3-4 days.

The do not have that discount code anymore, but they do have one that is $20 off orders of $220 or more. Unfortunately the springs are $219.68 which doesn't quite make the total. However, if you add PN: 49102 "Blind Sport Mirror for $1.31, it brings your total to $220.99. Add discount code "WINTER20" and it brings the total to $200.99. Not bad considering it includes shipping and no tax and not to mention a small mirror. hahaha. I just tried it so I know it works. Hope that is helpful. Customer service is the one that suggested the mirror so that was cool. They told me their codes change daily.
thank you for the info on that site where u ordered your springs from. I decided to get the same ones and I was about to spend $300 for the same exact set on a different site. your link along with a disc code brought my grand total to something like $194 shipped.

that's great!

I think a lot of depends on where you live as well. I love the roads in Jacksonville, FL. But I don't think I would drop as low if I live in Detroit or anywhere that gets snow. Just for the reason their roads seem to be in pretty bad shape.
No regrets for me!! Adjustable coilovers is the best way to go.
