Come on just 3 weeks after my warranty expired I just noticed this.
What he hell could cause the backsplash to shrink like this?
The car is always in the garage so it can't be from the sun.
Anybody else has this problem?

I wouldnt call that a serious design flaw....

I'd say its probably due to going 180 mph in the 1/4 mile to often!!

With no disrespect, when I saw that title, I expected to see something seriously wrong with the car. I understand that this may be frustrating for you. Maybe they can fix it some way.

In the scheme of serious design flaws throughout the life cycle of the automobile I think this would fall somewhere between infinity and infinity + 1.

However I do understand that it can be a bit frustrating and actually solvable if you wanted to take the time.

Well I agree.
Still you would expect that buying a $20K+ that something like that would not happen.
I already took off the side cover by the dash and it seems there is no easy way to fix it unless you take out the dash.
I honestly do not have the time and tools to do something like this :(

Only specialty tool you need for a dash removal is the T50 torx for the steering wheel. Everything else is standard. But I say that in jest because I wouldn't want to do it either for that issue - but wanted to state that it was solvable if it really bothered you that that point.

I drove mine to the office today so now I'll have to check it out later to see what mine looks like.

Edit: Regarding your $20k+ car comment. It's pretty much been discussed that the interior is poor quality considering how easy it scratches, so it doesn't surprise me that it happened. But one of those things we have to live with for picking the Camaro. Sorry to say but I think the quality of the Mustang interior is superior - but I won't drive a Mustang right now.
