Howdy!

I think I'm in here with you guys... Becky said my TPW was 11-15-2010.
Finally! It's been a long wait! Ordered a 2LT RJT RS Sunroof on 9-18-2010 seems like forever ago!

Can't think of a good personalized plate for myself.

Welcome to the site. I ordered my baby 9-29. I thought I had a long wait.

I like the stories...looks like we are all set in our ways as to what we want. I am still amazed as to how many automatics are out there on the dealer lots. No offense to the automatic buyers but I personally think you get more out of a car like this with the 6 manual.

I ordered 10/05 so not too bad of a wait so far.

Automatic vs Manual

I was really torn between the Automatic and the Manual. While I really like driving a stick, I also live in the city and this will be my daily driver. Plus I like the fact I can start it from my key :P I'm not going to be racing the car or anything. If I were going for the V8 Monster, I'd probably go for the manual :P

I feel like I'm more connected to the road and more in control of the car if I'm driving a manual. To each their own. Nothing but love for all camaros, manual or auto.

My 1969 SS-396 had a Turbo 400 and it was a rocketship. My buddy's '69 Z28 with a 302 and 4 speed was so much nicer driving in the canyons of the Santa Monica mountains. Of course there was a weight difference. Mine was a true beast as it had a "Ed Pink" balanced and blueprinted engine with a Sig Erson solid tappet cam. Just think my 69 was turning 12.0 in the quarter mile (at the track) in street trim, fully dressed. These new Gen 5s practically do that without the rumpety thump cams! Automotive science has come a long way in 33 years since I had my first Camaro!

And Frank...our cars will look even better with both of our blondies sitting next to us whizzing on down the road! I can't wait! This IS like being a kid at Christmas again.

Music Video of Orange Krate...

I forgot to tell ya'll that a buddy of mine, who does videography as a side hobby, has agreed to work with me to produce a quick Camaro video of Orange Krate in the not too distant future. I am working on the storyboards now. It will be approximately a 6 min video with a great song backing up the shots. I am so excited about this project! I am also an amateur photographer so I will be taking stills of the car as we film the video. The background song is going to be Glen Frey's "You Belong to the City". I love the lyrics.
