Yup... Learned at a VERY young age not to roll windows down in Tacoma. The aroma of Tacoma is NOT pleasant.

Jeez, you guys are brutal.

I can think of a lot of things to complain about with this car but this is not one of them. Just be careful. Have a towel ready if it's raining.

How bout weight, steering, poor paint, among others.

Yes it's annoying but not a piss poor design. Unless you want rain gutters.

This might freak out some that never take theirs out in the rain, or eat in it, or go to the drive-through in it, or let anyone ride in the back seat, or let anyone ride in the front passenger seat without first bathing and wearing rubber gloves and booties over their shoes.........

Some people smoke and lowering the window a little helps let the smoke out.

It's a bad, unhealthy, expensive addiction and there is no excuse for it. But, that's how I know about the water drain situation the OP is talking about.

Just about any vehicle without a frame around the window is gonna have this issue.

All I know is when my windows are closed, not a drop of water has ever made it through and I drive when it rains.

The real downer, is that due to the fact that Camaro doors don't have a frame around the window, you can't get those rain guards for them. I had the "In Channel" ones for my Monte Carlo (using no adhesive) and they were great.

Still love this car, even with a pet peeve here and there.

I do sometimes. keeps the windows from fogging up. depending on the time of year running the heat will make the car too warm, and the AC too cold. easiest just to open the window an inch if it isn't raining too hard

I haven't had this issue but then I don't drive with the window down when it's raining.

However, have you tried claybarring, waxing and polishing that area above the drivers window, and the weather stripping too. Give the rain nothing to hold onto at all, and then you won't have an issue. If no water can collect, then no water will dump on you.

Same with Rain-xing your windshield. If you do that, you can drive the car without wipers in the rain. Same principle.
