Zl1 black and 10 spoke rims

For you lucky guys that have them, would you consider the rims a semi gloss black or matte black?

Yes there is a bit of a shine, not a matte finish for sure. My guess is some some sort of a low gloss finish over the top of the black wheel.

Just a touch of gloss in my opinion. We installed a cam/pulley on a RS/SS that had them (real OEM ZL1 wheels). Here's a link to the facebook album so you can see the pics of it (click through, I think there are four total) - 2010 TVS 2300 Album

The the 2nd best decision i have made yet with the car. I had mine done under warranty. They told me i can pick ANY color i wanted, the rep laughed when i told him bubble gum pink. I had mine powder coated satin black. flat/matte black make the car look dirty(already a problem with the rims) and gloss IMO looks out of place. The satin gives you the perfect mix.

The factory covering is very thin on these rims and they should have powder coated them from the beginning. After the rims got refinished they looked 10x better. Even if your paying for the coating worth the money.

This is how they started out, all 4 plus scuff marks from the factory install on the tires and a couple of spots where the paint was even thin on the spokes.

Low gloss, imo. But not matte, and I'm not sure I'd even consider them satin.
