Rear speaker deck issue
I have a new 2014 zl1 camaro.. My rear speaker deck has three lines going through the middle of it. Its really noticible in the rear view mirror. Does anyone else have this issue?? I took it to the dealer to get it fixed. They said that chevy is not replacing them. They need to remove and paint it. Im a little skeptical about letting them paint it. Thoughts? Help is appreciated.

Huh. My 2013 doesn't have that, but the rear speaker deck also doesn't like the pic you posted. Nor can I even see it when looking in the rearview mirror.

I'm having a issue with mine on a 12 ZL1 only because the filler that goes where the 3rd brake light would be slipped out of place. The replacement unit is warped now and a replacement is needed. GM can't tell me when a new panel will be available. My first panel didn't look like the ones in the picture. Mine was a bare plastic panel and the ones in the picture seem to covered in fabric.

The lines in the window have never bothered me.........until now. Never even noticed it before. Now I find myself constantly looking in my rear view mirror and thinking how creepy and threatening and ugly that is. Actually really doesn't bother me in the least bit. Just trying to add to my post count.

Mine has it too. I've been waiting for two months for a new one. All the other Camaros I checked at the dealer also had it. Inexcusable on a 60 thousand dollar car. Btw, painting it won't solve the problem. The surface texturing is marred. You would have to remove the texturing before painting by sanding. Not a good idea

Mine is the same way on my 14 1LE. I always see it in the mirror and thought to myself that the dealer must have had there clean up guy wipe down the inside and it must be like a smear from armor all or something, but now I see that's not the case.
