he's not making excuses, you are just keeping yourself blind to reality. you have a good performer in your 11 GT, not sure why you are gung ho / insisting the '10 model mustangs out perform on a road course.

Hey guys,Just thought I would throw my 2 cents in.Im sure in a race the Camaro would come out on top.1/4 mile Camaro definitely has the advantage.Road course I could see going either way, although if i was a betting man I would put my money on the Camaro.Having said that, dont you think its a little silly to be arguing over a couple of tenths of a second here and there.Drive whichever car you like better. You cant lose either way, both cars are awesome. If being faster than the next guy is your main focus then your not going to keep your car stock anyway.American Muscle Rules. Now lets go after those imports.

The 2010 Camaro smoked the 2010 Gt on so many levels until its not even funny. The Ford definitely needed the power boost to stand a chance or best the Camaro. But the numbers stock vs stock for the 2011 Gt and SS are so close mods on either end could tip the scale.

How did you come up with 334hp? Not that a modded camaro isn't capable of pulling a stock mustang, but stock or modded, the v6 camaros even with bolt ons have yet to touch stock '11 v6 mustang times. IIRC, the fastest bol on camaro ran a 13.9, still tenths behind what some stock '11 mustangs have run. The cars make nearly identical power, but the mustang has weight and traction on its side.

I meant 1/4 or road course. Either one. I was just wondering because they are both the same year vehicle, so those are the ones I personally would rather compare them too. Also, I couldnt believe the power difference and I was unsure. So thanks to clearing it up that the Camaro would come on top

According to the wiki the overall length is 190.4" which is 15.9' I didn't realize that there was mini Camaro that was 10' or maybe we should assume that the op meant '10, as in 2010?
